Rent with purpose

Space that works for Comrie

Fit with the site

CDT considers the proposed use, the unit, the working estate and the community context before agreeing a tenancy.

Flexible terms

Units vary in size and condition. What is possible depends on the unit and what you have in mind — we work it out together.

Community benefit

Income from Camp activity helps maintain community assets and support Comrie Development Trust's wider work.

Types of space

Find the right unit for your work

Workshop and studio

Some larger huts may suit workshop, production or studio use. Dimensions, floor, utilities, access and permitted use vary by unit.

Office and professional

Some converted units may suit desk-based or appointment work. Confirm insulation, heating, connectivity, access and any privacy requirements for the available unit.

Storage

Some units may suit equipment, materials or stock. Confirm security, power, vehicle access, fire precautions and any restrictions before relying on a space.

The story behind the spaces

How it started

After the 2007 buyout, CDT made some empty huts available through the 'Free Huts' initiative in exchange for repair and community benefit. A Repair and Lease arrangement followed in 2017. Current units vary in condition and terms are agreed for the particular space and use.
