What guests say

Staying in a Nissen hut for a weekend sounds quirky until you actually do it — then you realise it's one of the most atmospheric places you've ever slept.

Sarah M.
Weekend visitor · Edinburgh

We hired the space for our team away day. The setting is completely unique — nowhere else like it in Scotland.

Mark H.
Corporate hire · Perth

The huts are really well converted — proper kitchen, comfortable beds, and full of character. We've been back three times.

Claire D.
Self-catering guest · Glasgow

A genuinely magical place. The kids loved the history, we loved the peace and quiet. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Comrie Museum is a short walk across the camp — one of Scotland's best-preserved WWII prisoner of war camps, free to walk around.

The area

A mile from Comrie village.

Cultybraggan Camp sits on the southern edge of Comrie, a village of around 2,500 people in the heart of Perthshire. Everything below is within easy reach on foot, bike, or by car.

Comrie village

Craft shops, local food, pubs, and a rich calendar of community events. Every summer the village runs Comrie Fortnight, ending with the competitive Float Parade. At Hogmanay the Flambeau Parade of burning torches fills the streets.

Walking

Miles of country walks on the doorstep — from gentle riverside strolls into Comrie to full Munro ascents. Walking guides are provided in the self-catering apartments.

Cycling

Quiet country roads throughout the area. The cycle path from Comrie to St Fillans follows a disused railway line along the south shore of Loch Earn — one of the finest routes in Perthshire.
